Comment: Is anyone else having a problem with their students doing "Thrill Stealing?" It is where they go into a store and steal things, not because they want the item or can not afford the item, but because of the thrill. We have groups of three or more going in to stores and stealing things. The larger the item the better the bragging rights and the thrill.

Comment: I am needing to get more materials for child fingerprinting/identification. Does anyone know of a company/organization that provides forms at no charge, or uses a system they would recommend? We used to get stuff for free, but it's been some time ago, and we are just now depleting our supply and need a new resource. Thanks!

Comment: I want to take this time to say thank you to all who attended and helped with the 2009 Kansas Juvenile Officer's Conference. It was only a great success because of you. A very special thank you to all who had a hand in planning and pulling this event off. Pat yourselves on the back and take a well deserved break and then 2010 here we come. Thanks again, Mary

Comment: We had our first KSJOA Board meeting and Conference committee meetings for the new year. We met in Topeka at the Holiday Inn and I am pleased to say that we were able to get a lot of things worked out for the upcoming conference. I am so very sad to say that we are losing yet another "brother" to our family. Phil Wickwire of Butler County will no longer be teaching DARE due to budget cuts in his department. Phil will be great missed by many. Good luck Phil! We love ya!

Comment: Although no longer being in law enforcement, but still having kids in public schools, i wanted to thank all the men and women who still believe in bridging the gap between cops and kids! Many fellow officers bag on SRO and D.A.R.E. officers, however they have no idea of the importance each of you have in kids' lives! So many children have no constant in their life, you alone may be the reason a child gets out of bed in the morning! Thanks again for all you do! Be safe! Respectfully, Scott W.
