The Kansas Juvenile Officers Association is sponsoring

an “SRO of the year and a DARE Officer of the Year Award.”

            If you know an SRO or DARE Officer in the State of Kansas that is deserving of an award for service, programs, duties they have performed now is the time to nominate them for 2010 Officer of the Year. The Kansas Association of School Resource Officers is going to give the award at the 2010 School Based Policing Conference in Topeka, Kansas in July of 2010 at the closing ceremony. We would like as many of you to nominate deserving Officers that may be eligible for this award.

            The nomination form is attached below. Just fill it out and submit the form. We are looking for officers who have gone beyond the call of duty in assisting their students and citizens with service, programs, and other duties that set them apart from other officers. Any SRO or DARE Officer in the State of Kansas is eligible for the award.
